Press Pad Company marks its 71st anniversary of manufacturing
press pads for the fabricare industry this year.
Founder
Morris Rosenthal began constructing his own steel press pads
in Chicago during the Depression at his family's Sheridan
Laundry. After he discovered that the pads were selling well
to neighboring laundries, Rosenthal formed Resillo in 1933.
By 1948, the company had a nationwide sales and service network
in place and by 1956 moved to a 30,000 sq. ft. facility in
Lincolnwood, IL where it continues to operate to this day.
Over
the years, Resillo has worked hand-in-hand with press manufacturers
to produce pads that fit the needs of their users. Resillo
continues to improve their products with the assurance that
they produce the best pads on the market.
